MediaCom China appoints Yoyo Zhao as Managing Director Beijing
MediaCom today announced the promotion of Yoyo Zhao to the the role of Managing Director, MediaCom Beijing, with immediate effect.
Yoyo has over 16 years’ experience in 4A agencies in China, has worked across global, regional, local and JV clients, and has been a key part of GroupM’s development over the years with roles at Mindshare and MAXUS, before moving to MediaCom Beijing. The work, the product and the client service that Yoyo has delivered at MediaCom have been a major contributor to MediaCom’s success in Beijing over the past two years, with many new clients won and existing contracts extended. Her leadership and contribution to the agency and clients’ business success has been consistently recognized by clients. Yoyo has also been a key contributor to many other MediaCom China wins in 2017 at the national level, which have been a very important and significant part of MediaCom’s growth and momentum in China.
With this promotion, Yoyo will sit on the Executive Committee of the The Content + Connections agency, and will continue to report directly to Rupert McPetrie, CEO MediaCom China.
As Managing Director of the MediaCom Beijing office, Yoyo will further develop the position of MediaCom in Beijing, developing our product, the talent, and the solutions for clients. In addition to her leadership of the FAW-VW and Audi business, she will work with other MediaCom Beijing clients, including Dell, Air China, Bank of China, Didi, and GSK and others to deliver increasing performance and outcomes from their marketing investment, through the MediaCom Content + Connections approach.
