Wavemaker Opens for Business in China
Wavemaker, GroupM’s new global billion-dollar revenue, media, content and technology agency created from the merger of MEC and Maxus opens for business today in China.
Wavemaker China will open with 800 people across four offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing, and is led by CEO Gordon Domlija. The agency services clients including Daimler, Meituan, Huawai, CHANEL, Pfizer and Danone.

Wavemaker will have offices in 90 countries with over 8,500 employees.
